Meal Prices and Charge Policy
Welcome to Bryan County Schools School Nutrition Program!
*Students approved for free or reduced meals may enjoy one free breakfast and lunch daily. Additional meals or snacks may be purchased. Students are only allowed to charge up to $20 and thereafter, will be provided with an alternate meal until the balance is paid in full. Parents/Guardians are encouraged to refer to our meal charge guidelines.
Payments
Parents may set up an account through MySchoolBucks at MySchoolBucks.com or download the App to make direct, online payments. A convenience fee of $3.25 will be incurred per transaction (not per student). Automatic draft payments and account balance alerts can also be set up.
Parents are encouraged to pay by providing cash ($20 bills or less) or check directly to the cashier at the time of service to avoid convenience fees through MySchoolBucks. Checks should be made payable to Bryan County School Nutrition.
Applying for Meal Benefits
Parents can visit our website (link above) to apply for free or reduced meal benefits online. It takes less than 5 minutes to complete. If applying online is not an option, paper copies are available at your child’s school. Parents must return the original form (no copies). Parents should refer to the eligibility standards for free and reduced-price meals to determine if you qualify. If you are unsure, we encourage you to apply anyways!
If you receive a Direct Certification letter in the mail, you automatically qualify and there is no need to submit an application. If you have questions about the Direct Certification process, please contact the school nutrition office at 912-459-5121 or email the Director of School Nutrition at avallbracht@bryan.k12.ga.us.
