Description: Babies Can't Wait (BCW) works with babies birth through age 3 and works specifically with parents to help them learn how to engage their child and promote their child's development while doing things the child would typically do during the day. The premise is the more opportunities a child has to practice, the better they become developmentally. All children are assigned a Service Coordinator that supports them until they turn three years of age. BCW can help with transitioning into a school system when the child turns three if they qualify, enrollment in Early HeadStart and HeadStart if a parent is interested.
There is no cost for anything from referral to determination of eligibility and if your child is eligible, any cost would be based on the federal poverty scales, number of people in your family and your income.

PEERS® is an evidence-based social skills intervention for motivated adolescents or young adults who are interested in making and keeping friends, handling conflict/rejection, using humor appropriately, entering and exiting conversations, and for young adults, developing romantic relationships and more.
• Young adults/Adolescents and social coaches (including parents or other caregivers) attend 16-weekly group sessions for 90 minutes per week.
• Young adults are taught social skills through didactic lessons and role-play demonstrations and practice these skills during group socialization activities.
• Social coaches attend separate sessions simultaneously and are taught how to assist with the new skills being taught.
• Groups are taught by BCBAs who are also Certified PEERS® instructors.
