It's Bryan County Schools PreK Week!
We are super excited to celebrate this week with our youngest friends!
Research has shown that children who attend PreK have stronger math, reading, and writing skills than children who do not attend a public preschool program.

Research shows that missing 10 percent of the school year, or about 18 days in most school districts, negatively affects a student’s academic performance. That’s just two days a month and that’s known as chronic absence.

The safety of our students and staff continues to be our highest priority as we make decisions regarding the weather. We will continue monitoring the storm through the weekend and notify all parties on Sunday if there is a need to modify the school day on Monday, Sept 17th.
Bryan County School District officials continue to work directly with Bryan County Emergency Services to monitor Hurricane Florence. Based on the most recent projections and predictive models, Bryan County Schools will be open on Friday, September 14th.
District officials are working w/ Bryan County Emergency Services in closely monitoring Hurricane Florence’s trajectory. The safety of the families we serve is our highest priority as we make decisions regarding the weather. Please check back for updates.
