Richmond Hill Fish Hatchery Experience was amazing for students to learn about a variety of careers and education pathways in DNR. Students learned about the spawning process, hatchery operations, and the process of raising striped bass before they are released into the wild. They also explored the importance of conservation efforts, water quality management, and the role of biologists in maintaining healthy fish populations. This hands-on experience gave students valuable insight into careers within the Department of Natural Resources and how they can contribute to environmental sustainability in the future.
Students also had the opportunity to take a tour of the RH police department and gain firsthand insight into law enforcement operations. They learned how the court system functions, observed how suspects are detained and processed, and witnessed an exciting K9 demonstration showcasing the skills and training of police dogs. This experience provided students with a deeper understanding of the responsibilities of law enforcement officers and the various career paths within the criminal justice field.

Our Middle School Boys Soccer team pulled out a hard win tonight against Lewis Frazier Middle School with a 1 - 0 victory for our last home game. One of our captain's Theodore Williamson, scored the goal. We missed our two other eighth graders, Cooper and Liam, who were at golf tonight, but they are always a great asset to the team. Great job, Redskins!
