Lanier is to provide an educational foundation for students with opportunities to achieve lifelong skills, attitudes, and social behaviors that will enable them to learn and achieve their greatest potential.

The primary curriculum focuses on reading and mathematics and is enhanced through technological experiences. Through additional instruction in the areas of health, science, social studies, and physical education, the staff strives to foster a desire for learning. An appreciation for the creative process is developed through music and art opportunities, which are provided for students.

We strive to create a safe and caring school environment. This allows students to have positive learning experiences through a working partnership among school, home, and community.

Lanier Primary School is located on forty-six acres of land in a rural area of northern Bryan County. The school first opened in August 1981 as Lanier Elementary School when Black Creek Elementary and Bryan County Elementary were combined. Our school became Lanier Primary in 1995. All students attending public school in grades kindergarten through second in the northern section of Bryan County are now served by Lanier Primary School.

Lanier Primary School is a place where learning is exciting! Administrators, teachers, and support personnel implement meaningful educational experiences for the students of the school.

Learning is a facilitated process in which the faculty, staff, and parents work as a team to guide their students on a lifelong quest for knowledge. Lanier Primary School is indeed an exciting place in which to learn!
