Conducted nationwide, the Patriot's Pen is a VFW-sponsored youth essay competition that gives students an opportunity to write essays expressing their views on an annual patriotic theme.\r\n
\r\nThis year's theme was “America’s Gift to My Generation”\r\n
\r\nOver 75 essays from RHMS were submitted to the local VFW post. The winners are:\r\n
\r\n1st place-Isabella Davis\r\n
\r\n2nd place-Victoria Kim\r\n
\r\n3rd place-Zachary Morrison\r\n
