It was hands on learning for RHMS’ Eighth grade ELA students who participated in a crime scene investigation of the Boston Massacre. The students spent several days evaluating a mock crime scene and various primary documents of drawings and eye witness accounts from both colonists and British soldiers in order to make a sound argument for their argumentative essay. Will the students find that the soldiers murdered the 5 colonist in cold-blooded murder or was it in self-defense?\r\n
