Mrs. Ennis' 8th grade ELA class used social media like Snapchat and Twitter as inspiration to put a twist on textual analysis. Students created Snapchats of the imagery and figurative language found in the story. Then, students "Tweeted" an answer to an analysis question pertaining to the story.
\r\nThe final step in the textual analysis came as students used the App, Flipgrid, to create video responses to in-depth questions as a check for understanding of multiple literary standards. \r\n
