The cadets of the Richmond Hill JROTC battalion were inspected as part of their JROTC Program of Accreditation today. This inspection occurs every three years by the US Army Cadet Command. We are proud to announce that the cadets scored a 96.25 out of 100 points and retained their Honor Unit with Distinction title (the highest category). The cadets built and presented two briefs including community service learning project and continuous improvement. They were also inspected on platoon drill sequence, color guard sequence and interviews by Cadet Command inspectors. Cadets, parents and all stakeholders should be proud-we know the instructors are very proud!

We’re thrilled to share that Richmond Hill High School has been awarded the 2024 GOLD Award in the Greatest Gains category by the Governor’s Office of Student Achievement (GOSA)!
This prestigious recognition celebrates our school’s outstanding academic growth, placing RHHS among the top 3% of schools in the state for student progress over the past three years!
To earn this award, our school ranked between the 97th and 99th percentile statewide in the average CCRPI Progress Scores.
There are only 19 schools in Georgia that received the Gold Award in this category — and RHHS is proud to be one of them!
This accomplishment is a direct result of the hard work and dedication of our students, teachers, staff, and the entire RHHS community.! #ouRHouse

April is the Month of the Military Child, and at Richmond Hill High School, we are proud to recognize and celebrate the resilience, strength, and sacrifices of our military-connected students.
Tomorrow, April 15, 2025, we invite all students and staff to wear purple in honor of Purple Up Day—a nationwide initiative to show support and appreciation for military children. Purple represents all branches of the military and symbolizes the combined strength of our armed forces families.
Join us in making this a special day to uplift and honor the incredible children of our nation’s heroes.

The honor of your presence is requested for Rising Senior Night on Tuesday evening, the 25th of March, 2025 in the East Cafeteria, Richmond Hill High School.
Last Names A-L: Attend 5:30 p.m.
Last Names M-Z: Attend 6:30 p.m.
To ensure equity & access to serve all students effectively & accommodate for adequate space, Rising Senior Night will be delivered in two sessions. Current Juniors & parent(s) with last names beginning with A-L are to attend the 5:30 p.m. session. Current Juniors & parent(s) with last names beginning with M-Z are to attend the 6:30 p.m. session. The information presented in both sessions will be comprised of the exact same information. If you are unable to attend your assigned session, you will be able to access the presentation, including links to resources, on the RHHS Counseling Department website.
The purpose of this meeting is to review graduation requirements, post-secondary planning/scholarships, give you access to free resources to explore colleges & careers, & alleviate any concerns about your upcoming senior year.
Herff Jones will raffle 3 FREE cap & gown coupons & Lifetouch will be on site to share information about senior photos.
