RHMS hosted a 6th Grade Bootcamp on Thursday, July 26th. Rising 6th graders toured the school, practiced opening locks on their lockers, and participated in lots of fun activities. We look forward to having these new faces on campus this year! #WeAreRHMS
RHMS Band will host a 6th Grade Instrument Rental Night at the RHMS Band Room on August 7 and August 9, 4-7PM. If you have an upcoming 6th grader who will be in band, please plan to attend. Please consult the director before making purchases. The band director will be on hand to answer any questions. You may also email the band director, Ms. Alisha Bowden, at abowden@bryan.k12.ga.us.
Bryan County Schools is excited to offer a new Online Registration process for all new students K-12. Parents have the option to use the Registration Link to input information digitally or parents may obtain a Registration Packet from the school.

Students who wish to participate in athletics at RHMS must complete the online registration EACH YEAR before their season begins. If you completed the registration last year, you must complete a new registration for the 2018-2019 school year. Registrations completed in April 2018 or May 2018 are good for the following year.

Report cards will be available for pickup on Tuesday, May 29th and Wednesday, May 30th from 8:30 -11:30 and 1:00 - 3:00. If you chose to send in a self-addressed stamped envelope, your child's report card will be mailed. Remember, you may also check your PowerSchool Parent Portal for grades.

Ms. Hurst's 6th grade science classes are using a google slides activity to study the Earth's rotation and revolutions. Students created their own Google Slide review guides from a template, then answered questions, categorized statements, and participated in review games. #WeAreRHMS

Students in Mrs. Padgett’s 7th Grade Life Science Class participated in a Natural Selection Bird Beak lab to identify environmental factors affecting the success of individuals within a population and to follow the success or failure of different phenotypes according to collected data. #WeAreRHMS
Ms. Warren's 6th Grade Classes are completing Missions via a GooseChase Online Scavenger hunt to determine why the desert is so dry. They are studying ocean currents, elevation, and climate maps to collaborate with classmates, answer higher level questions, and submit evidence of their reasoning.
