RHHS - The Bryan County Board of Education most recently met Thursday, September 24, 2020. One of the topics of discussion as brought forth by our Superintendent included the need for additional time to prepare, plan and professionally learn given the current model of instruction “Concurrent Classroom” and the amount of time that such takes in order to meet the needs of ALL of our learners at Richmond Hill High School. The following dates have been declared as Student ½ days (HS ONLY):
• Wednesday, September 30, 2020
• Wednesday, October 14, 2020
• Tuesday, November 3, 2020
The Board of Education and our district level leaders are aware of how teaching a virtual and face to face classroom at the same time amidst a pandemic has impacted all RHHS educators. We are gracious for their support and understanding as we all turn this challenge into a true opportunity!
Richmond Hill High School will continue to provide transportation and meals on these days. Students will be dismissed from school at 11:05am. The adjusted schedule has been linked here: http://bit.ly/HalfDayRHHS
Thanks,
Bivins Miller

Congratulations to senior RHHS students Savannah Flanagan, Daniel Gregory, Gabriella Muna, and James Shin who have been named National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists this year! They earned that distinction by having the top 1% of the PSAT scores in the nation! They are now eligible to compete for the National Merit Scholarship later this year.
Each year the University of Georgia Office of Admissions presents a Georgia High School with the UGA Director’s Cup, an award to acknowledge the high school whose students have earned the highest cumulative GPA at the completion of their first year. High schools enrolling 10 or more students in the first-year class are eligible for consideration.
Richmond Hill High School is the 2019-2020 recipient of the UGA Director’s Cup. The 10 students from Richmond Hill High School that enrolled as first-year students at UGA in Fall 2019 semester achieved a 3.86 first-year cumulative GPA, higher than any other high school with 10 or more students from the 2019 entering class.
This is a great achievement for the entire Richmond Hill High School community. #BetterTogether #WeAreRH
